Carmel Motley Making Clicking Noises

My little over a year old caramel motley is making clicking noises. He ate on Thursday as well. I haven't noticed any open mouth breathing or mucus or bubbles on the side of his mouth. I have the temperature at 90° on warm side and 70's on the cool side. How long should I keep his warm side on 90° for

Is he going into shed? I'd leave it 90 for now, and if he is not in shed, or going to shed, he needs to go to the vet as soon as he's done digesting. it's much cheaper to just catch it at the beginning rather than waiting till it's harder to treat.

Ok I opened his mouth twice under good light and didn't see any mucus and I held him to ear and he was quiet.
