Question On Breeding

Amel/Albino striped from Petco in NJ.

I only assume it's a Female because of her tail. Info was not avail. I don't even know where to go for convenient sexing.

If I really wish to breed out a certain line, should I pair this corn with a "true" homozygous albino to see if she has any other alleles hiding behind the curtain or should I assume this Amel is homozygous?

I would like to try and avoid surprises as best I can. I hope I was understandable here.

Thank You

Lance

I don't understand what you mean by "true"...amel is a recessive mutation in corn snakes. Your snake is homozygous amel.
