Series Wiring?

Can someone explain series wiring as it relates to flexwatt for me?

If my thinking is correct, you run a wire from the left side of the first flexwatt to the right side of the next one. Then from the left side of that one to the right side of the next one. Is this right?

Is this different than just running wire from the left side of the flexwatt to the left side of the next one, same with the right side? Left to left to left, and right to right to right?

Am i making any sense at all?

Thanks,

Knox
