She is not a locality or a phase. As I said earlier she does not have the borders to be considered a reverse okeetee. She is an amel. It's like the difference between being a "breed" or just being a dog.

In my eyes she is a normal amel - there are many line breeds with amel and reverse okeetee is a line breed story too but anyway if you have a revOk or a candycane, flouroscent orange (FluO) or Sunglow - these are all selective (or line) breedings from amel - means that people try to 'change' her colour/pattern/behavior more intensive as they are. (-> if the snake has white borders they try to make it more brighter and so on...same with colour or pattern)

So and then is there the thing with the hidden genes - not even one normal amel looks identically like the other - the hidden genes that the snakes have, changes the visible colour a lot and its always only one morph because of het's there is a difference between
Sorry because of my bad english, hopefully you understand

look here on Ian's Viv - there you can see all the selective breeds (on the bottom)

Very helpful. Thank you. I guess I understood less than I thought! "Amel normal" it is!

No normal. Because she's not a normal. She's an amel. When we say she is a normal amel we mean that she isn't one of the linebred types. So she's normal for an amel, but not a normal.

Okay, but she has to be an amel something. Amel itself is a morph; e.g. if she had dark pigment, would she not be a normal?

Or Shari, are you just saying that she is a "normal (pattern) amel (morph)" but obviously not a "normal" (because she lacks dark pigment)?

She's saying she's a regular amel.
