Thanks, everyone. She's eggbound now, so will be doing an aspiration this evening. I think Rich Z once said something along the lines of the cost of a snake is proportional to the odds it will have health issues. That has certainly been my experience this year.

Is the next egg right at the vent ??
The reason I ask is, I've had very good success removing eggs that are right at the vent using 8in. forcepts and not having to use a needle on the female.

I KYed the vent and got them out without aspiration. Seemed to go well...
