Few new corns this year...

Cut my collection way back about five years ago and got down to only 4 snakes. I’ve started slowly regrowing it and added a rack last fall with a larger rack on the way this month. I’ve kept a small but diverse collection of small pythons and colubrids but find myself coming back to corns more. They are a good size, nearly all are good natured and they feed and shed well. Plus you can’t beat their colors.

I recently bought three corns from VMS Herp. This will be my newest, a 2016 male phantom. He and a 2017 female Abbott’s Okeetee are being shipped this week. Photo belongs to VMS- I can’t wait to meet him!

This is one of my other corns from VMS. He’s a 2017 caramel and quite a spit fire! I had to leave the tongs in the bin for a while until he let them go.

Corns are fun little snakes and I’m looking forward to adding some new morphs this coming fall.

Thanks for the insight about how gender can affect display.

Cute phantom - I'll look forward to seeing his progression.
Maybe that little caramel was hoping to use those tongs to snag a rodent! LOL

I don't know if you can see it, but yes there is a pinky on the tongs-- he wrapped the whole thing up. He also bit my thumb yesterday when I was changing his water. :devil01:

Here are the other two corns from VMS. Butter stripe if my favorite morph, I think... though some of the new tessera morphs are very nice as well.

This is a 2017 male butter stripe.

This is the Abott's Okeetee I am getting this week, along with the phantom. Also a 2017.

This is my first corn, and oldest. He's a 2006 male hypo Okeetee (basically a normal corn) and I purchased him from Rich Z when Rich and his wife used to make the trip up here to Baltimore for the MARS show.
