New here, a few questions! :)

Hello all,

I work in the animal removal business and a few weeks back I had that itch for a new pet. I found a liking to king snakes. Particularly the Scarlet.

Anyways low and behold today I get an emergency call from work for a venomous snake. The client thought they had a baby coral on their hands but it was a scarlet king. This fellah is TINY. I had him in an empty moist water bottle while I finished my runs for the day. Got him home this evening and went out and bought a tiny portable plastic terrarium to tide him over until I can get a legit setup. He burrowed away after a stressful day of riding around in the work truck.

I bought some frozen little pinkies but They seem pretty big for him. What else would you all recommend me feed the little guy.

Also, hope i'm not trespassing on the corn snake forum by intruding with a king snake. Just seemed like the most active forum I could find tonight!

He is gorgeous! Sorry I can't help a lot but I do know that Scarlet kings can be difficult to keep in captivity, particularly to get eating. There are a few members on here much more knowledgeable about them than me though ...
