Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I just got my first corn snake yesterday. She's a baby butter motley, I think around four months old. I'll be posting a couple of threads I think at least I get her settled because I'm worrying about everything she does lol.

Welcome to the forum. Don't worry, corns are a great stress reliever as you watch their antics. If you meet their simple requirements they will give you years of enjoyment.

:) thank you!! She is lovely, yes and very relaxing but she's stressed I think. She never had her pinky last night and she hasn't moved since 5am. Just sits in her cold side under her hide. I'm eagerly waiting for night time to hopefully see her wake up a little.

Congrats!!! And don't worry about her being stressed, she just needs a few days to herself to get used to her new home:) She'll be more comfortable in no time!

Thank you!! I hope so. I'm not even lifting any hides or anything now. I've left her alone. And I'm refraining from posting questions in other areas of the forum yet, about me being worried lol!

Yeah, totally agree. In all the snakes I've had, they always needed time to acclimate to their new homes. Even when I clean out cages, I give them some time.
