Feeding wild mice?

So for the past week or so I've been hearing mice running around. Not sure how they got in, but while cleaning today, I found 5 little hoppers in a cabinet. My snake is on hoppers currently, and it's feeding night anyway, my question is can i feed them to my snake (not all at once lol)? I'm not sure if it would be safe since they are wild, even though they were born in my house.

NO. Wild mice can carry fleas and parasites that you do not want to pass on to your snake! They may also have ingested some poison somehow, even if you aren't laying any out. It's overall just not a good idea.

I know this is old and you were only referring to hoppers. But aside from parasites, a wild caught rodent is going to put up a MUCH bigger fight than a store bought one bred for feeding. Don't beleive me? Look at the scarring on the face and sides of the next Cali king you see out there.
