Nothing is wrong it takes sometime for them to adjsut to new surroundings, and also corn are more active in the evening. In time you see him/her come out and explore. Just relax and let him/her relax too.

Dont worry

Corn snakes are nocturnal, so if u want to see him in action check up on
him at about 11pm or so. Also u said u just got him so give him a while to adjust to the new environment.

It is completely normal. They are more active at night. In fact if you feed them in the morning, they tend not to eat as well as they eat during afternoon or at night. (Well at least from my experience)

Good luck and Happy Herping!

Well don't be too surpised when he goes back into hiding. Corns are nocturnal and often hide during the day.

Frank disagrees...

No matter how many times I tell my anery A corn snake (Frank) that corns are supposed to be nocturnal, he continues to disagree. He prefers to be diurnal. Well, basically diurnal; sometimes he does sleep in the day. But mostly he sleeps at night and is active during the day.

Just thought I'd let you know that not all corns are nocturnal.

confused

Wait a minute... are both you and your snake named nicky? Or did you just use your snake's name as your id in here? I'm confused...

nicky
yeah

yeah I like my snakes name better than mine so I used his name. My names kayla but I can't change my user name so I'll use my corns. I named my corn after my step-cousin nick who taught me how to catch snakes when I moved here.
does that help?
