A Friend Of Mine Wants an ID ....

She posted these 2 pics on Facebook and wants to know what it is. Any ideas? I figured this place would be a good starting point!

Looks to me like a Black Rat Snake or what some southerners call a "Chicken Snake"

Video link below of a man with a Black Rat snake that he caught in his yard and is keeping as a pet. Like most rat snakes, they can be accepting of people and rarely bite.

I'd say black rat snake too. Looks like the one I found yesterday. He was very tranquil.
