Hell everyone! This is only second post, but I wanted to let you guys know that today was the day I handled Opal for the first time! Opal is a 3 month old Snow Corn. I purchased her last week and have waited to handle her so she could settle in. Earlier this morning I gathered up the courage and and I tried picking her up. It took a few tries, I definitely was scared and dropped her a few times (she was barely off of the ground so she was fine) and it was troublesome for both of us. But i finally was able to hold her for a few minutes! The first two pictures are of that first time. I kept her in the tank to be safe. The next two pictures were taken a few minutes ago. I tried again and this time it was easier! Took only 3 tries and she was in my hands! I was brave enough to hold her out of the tank, and even walk around with her! She did very good, and wasn't aggressive at all. She was very curious and just wrapped around my fingers. After a few minutes it got super easy and we both relaxed. It was great! I am so happy and relieved now Hopefully it gets even easier after this!
