I want my corn to be big!

My corn is a baby ish right now (probably 6 months ish). When i got him from the pet store one month ago he was a lot smaller than now, he's definitely grown! (4 feedings and one shed). Anyways, i saw some pictures of huge cornsnakes on this forum. Is there anyway i can get my guy to grow as big as possible? Are there any factors that affect if a corn is able to grow or any factors thats prevents them from growing? or is it all how often you feed/genetics?

Why do you feel you want him or her to be big is there a purpose.

i dont know, not really. I don't care too much. I was just looking at some big corn snakes and they seem really cool. Obviously i'll love my little guy no matter what :-)

Your snake is a baby, and babies grow. It will take a couple years, but he will get big, I promise. Don't try to make him grow quickly as you can actually shorten his lifespan and cause organ and skeletal damage.

Genetically he/she will be what it will be, overfeading will result in a fat snake. I guess you could put the snake on a rack and stretch it out, just kidding.

I got a really tiny snake, because she was just so cute. Now I'm working on getting her to grow, but she is just on the small side. Some breeders go for the big snakes, I suggest doing more research for your next snake purchase and get one of those monster corns. Until then let your snake grow at his own pace.

Every time I decide on my next snake, something else catches my eye. I really want a strawberry, but I can't find anyone working with that morph.

I'd say that big snakes are a genetic thing.
If you want a big snake, I think you have to buy a big snake... I don't think that there is any way to tell how big a corn snake is going to get until it is an adult.

Or, you could buy a boa to add to your collection
