Introduction- First Corn

Hi
I thought I’d say hi. I just got my first corn. It’s in a large eco-terra faunarium with water, bark hide and a small heat mat (5w) under one third of the tank. I will try to do a scale count in a couple of weeks once it has settled to sex. Heat gun says the tank is 25 degrees at the mat end. It is about 6 inches long and quite happy. Breeder said it was feeding well and shedding well too. First large pinky on Monday - I have a small rub for feeding - so fingers crossed.

I have an adult bearded dragon and a couple of tarantulas so I have some experience with exotics. This is my first snake - so I’m sure to be asking for lots of help.
(Wiring my Viv for the mat is my next post - as I prepare the big Viv. )

Thanks.

Welcome! I’m assuming the 25 degrees you’re referring to is celsius? If so, that translates to 77 degrees fahrenheit. You might want to make your warm a bit warmer.
