I have bred fancy rats for food for 2 years, and have a specific hairless line for pets. But, I have one snake breeder who only feeds his snakes hairless rats. He says it has improved his big expensive snakes taking the hair out of their diet. Less fuss about eating, cleaner poo, etc. I don't know if there is any truth to that.......

I ordered about 6 months worth of hairless mice, but none of mine are particularly picky anyway.

That sounds right. Probably is easier for the snake

I can easily believe it makes the poo rather less messy; I swear snake poo is like 80% hair anyway
