My Cornsnake is such a fail

My beautiful hypo cornsnake is...not all that bight. She missed her f/t mouse, struck herself, and was determined to win. After a few minutes she did figure it out and she was unharmed.

Poor baby! My adult who has cataracts has done this. Fortunately corn snakes rarely can hurt themselves this way.

Glad no harm was done!

I tried at first to stop her and it became quickly clear that I was making it worse. If there had been blood I would have been more concerned, but she did figure it out fairly quickly. Not a mark on her.

I wonder if being hypo makes her eyesight a little poor, or if she was just that excited.

I have a few that do that. The worst was an Okeetee who ate his tail!! After a couple pics, he had a quick trip to the sink to get run under water...
