the butters are actually going to be possibly het hypo, bloodred, and motley or stripe. I held back a female butter from last year and plan to hold back a few more this year just be 100% sure about their father's genes. I can't wait to breed thes together and see what i get in the F2's in a few years

also i say motley or stripe b/c you can't have a snake het for both, when a snake is a carrier for both of those traits you get a motley stripe b/c the stripe and motley genes are just different alleles of the same gene.

ok so the motley and stripe gene is a the same locust (location) on both alleles ?

thats meens if you brred a mtley to a stripe you'll get motley stripe in the F1 ?

Yes if you breed a motley to a stripe you should get motley stripes in the F1 generation

an other question about the stripe/motley gene :

if i breed 2 motley stripe togheter i'll get 25%motleys, 25%stripe and 50%Motley stripes in the F1 generation right?
