Awesome! Glad to see another rosy owner. These snakes are so underrated. Awesome personalities too - mine is so friendly and mellow.
Only downside I can think of is that (mine anyway) goes off food every year from about November to May. That's six months! :O Scared me to death the first time he did it, I thought something was wrong with him.
Fun fact: did you know they are one of the slowest-moving snakes in the world?
Yeah my Rosy boas had been the only snakes I brumate every year, the adults any way. They seem to do so much better than when they aren't brumated. Looks like my 2012 girl has gotten old enough now though to go off feed, so she will probably be brumated as well.
These two new ones are still ravenous, so as long as they want to eat well, I'll keep them up this winter.
