Surprise hatchlings

My last three hatchings made their deput today. I was surprised because each was from a singleton egg that appeared in the vivs of different mothers. Long after their regular clutches were laid. I thought they were all some kind of slug because the were smaller than an average egg. But their color was good so I popped them into the incubator not expecting much really. But the color stayed white and I would check every few days. No discoloration or suspicious phorid flies, but they stayed small. Last week they wrinkled and I though they were just dried out and done. Misted them anyway because the color was stll good. And lo and behold here they are! Kind of small but I think they were all Miami's. I didn't I.D. them because I though they were just slugs. But I have a lot of Miami's this year and found them when I was pouring in fresh water. None were buried in a nesting substrate, just there on the floor ontop of paper towel I use as a substrate when the snakes aren't gravid. So... who else has had this han? I learned to never give up until an egg turns yellow and not to toss fugitive eggs away because they turn up alone and unexpectedly.
