My first tattoo! =] Everyone, show 'em off!

My latest,
A Pink ribbon entwined w/Red,White,Blue ribbon
to shape a heart for support and the wings for "in memory"

I have an appt 9/6 with an apprentice friend of a good friend of mine,
I want a Snake on my shoulder, but he says he's not comfortable
with life like images(sent pics of some real snakes)
Any ideas of an animated type?

Maybe Tara can design you one.

I have shown my Japanese sleeve before, but I love to show it off:

After the first two sessions (7 hours total)

Third session of 4 hours:

And the outline for the next session. That is a sensitive spot I can tell you.

Under the arm right there hurts like someone is peeling away your skin. I had no idea it would be THAT painful. lol

This is my first tattoo. I got it about 3 months ago as an anniversary present from my boyfriend. Every time I look at it I can't believe how perfect it turned out. It only took one 3 1/2 session to complete and it's an original piece not flash :D

If he isn't comfortable with a life-like image and that's what you want, maybe you should go somewhere else...?
/controversial :)

I was thinking the same thing. Don't sacrifice your idea, you'll always regret it. Maybe this person can do a more animated snake on another part of you body and save that special spot for a good realistic snake tat.

I saw a fantastic ball python tat being done at Tattoo Jam (biiiig UK convention) this year and it was totally lifelike, it was a young snake, his snake, and the colours/patterns were spot on. I wished I could've got in the chair and had one done myself! The 'ball' started on the guy's back and he draped over his shoulder with its head coming to rest on his collar bone.

I kept bumping into the family and they called me the snake lady for the rest of the day!

Good times :D

In other news, a neighbour of mine who is retired is getting her first tattoo tomorrow and credits me for the "kick up the bum". I didn't do anything I swear, we were at a casino party, I took my shoul off and she said "I want one of those", it went from there.

Bless her, 60+ (though doesn't look it) and getting her first tattoo. Good lass!!!

Wow I thought I had gone mad until I found the "corruption thread". Will take the effort to post again in case anyone likes tattoos as me and wants to see.

Here is my new tattoo. A very special one, a year in the making and probably 5-6 years since my last one. I'm so in love with it I can't stop looking at it.

And now it's gone super scabby, I'm the crazy weirdo in the office who can't stop fiddling with her thigh!

(sorry it's upside down, was taken from my POV before I was wrapped up, and doesn't look right when you flip it!).

Yikes sorry it's so big, I only used my phone! At least you can see some of the detail I guess.

The details in the wing tips are done in white, however since I apparently bleed like a mo' fo' (as my dad would say!) you can't tell on there.

It was also the artist's idea to do a deep royal blue for the bodies.. which I wasn't sure about, but he gave me another lollypop, so I went along with it :D

I looked around and saw a couple of tattoo threads, but barely anyone replied to them! I decided instead of bumping an old thread, I'd start a whole new one! I know a lot of you snake crazies out there have some tattoos.. Post pictures! Post stories.

I have wanted the Holy Trinity since I was probably about 15 or 16, and my bestie has wanted another tattoo for awhile, so we were looking online for a design that she liked.. When I found the Holy Trinity.. With a Heart!

I have many more tattoo ideas, including a dove above my Holy Trinity.

Pictures:
1. This is my ouchy face. I have 14 piercings (had 15.. but my tongue webbing fell out *sad*) but I was used to a whole different kind of pain!!
2. This is the finished outline.
3. The finished product.
4. All wrapped up and ready for the Canton cold.
5. The morning after!

I know this is a little old but It is almost the same one me and my best friend of 20 years now are getting. And no we are not old I am 28 now. we are going to be getting the Celtic Sisters Knot.

sister.jpg

This is the meaning of it Our Sisters Knot Celtic heart is a symbol of sisterhood and the strong, eternal bond we share with our sisters and friends. The intricate Celtic knot heart is an unbroken line symbolic of an everlasting love. The stylized triquetra or triple spiral, woven within the Celtic knot heart symbolizes the three stages of woman. The three stages of woman are maid, mother and wise woman. Where are you and your sisters on the spiral of life? Celebrate the powerful, life long bond of friendship between women with our Sisters Knot necklace.

Got another one, in honor of my Grandfather who passed away recently.
It's the nickname he gave me when I was a baby. He gave nicknames to all of us grandkids & the great grandkids as well.
He called me by this nickname up until he passed away.

I've been thinking about getting my first tattoo in two weeks.

Something small and little.
I'm thinking four little paw prints across the top of my foot.

Shouldn't cost much... But I'm worried it's going to hurt since it is on top of the foot.

I know this is going to start an addiction though, so I've been putting it off haha.
