Night viewing light

What is the beat type of light for night viewing? Something that will not harm his eyes (he is an amel we think) And something that i can leave on for a few hrs in the evenings?

I say just the regular room lights will be fine for watching him. If you want to get technical on it, some people use LED rope light for their vivs.

My little guy only comes out when all the lights are off. Ive never seen him cruise his viv but i can see tunnels through the aspen so I know he does after im in bed. He is in my room and im up late most nights so its not that he is nocturnal.

Moon light bulbs are nice. They actually look like moonlight. Not real bright at all.
