Candy cane or not?



This is my little corn i just bought. The place I got him told me he was a candy cane but ive been looking at pictures online and he looks too pink to be candy cane. Ideas? Sorry if this is the wring spot for this post...

Not a candy cane. Candy canes are missing the orange they are white with red saddles. What you have is an amel and it looks like it will be shedding soon. Congrats

I agree, and it looks like a nice example of an amel.

He looks a bit pink and he should look red and orange.

Candy canes are just line bred amels. In other words, all candy canes are amels, but not all amels are candy canes. Yours is not a candy cane, but just a nice amel.
