I am trying to get the info on this snake. A guy here in Ky. supposedly found it. So I am waiting on him to get back with me on the details of it. What do you all think about it? He is calling it a tiger striped copperhead.
To be honest it is lacking the bright yellow tail and the face is flashed out. It appears to be in near some sort of water type plant. I know you do not have cotton mouths ,but that is what it reminds me of, a subadult cottonmouth. Which are more banded than Copperheads, but if it is a copperhead, it would be a neat find. Here is one with similar but not exact markings....
We don't have cotton mouths on this end of the state. The guy is a county away so if i can arrange a looksy i am gonna go check it out. I would say is a copperhead knowing this guy. But i would like to see it in person lol
