Help a newbie please

Hello all. Nice to find this forum。 Hopefully some of you will be able to help me out a little. First of all we are in China (Long story) and my 11 year old son bought a corn/rat snake ONLINE. it arrived and seems to be about 12" long but it is basically comatose. It hasn't moved or shown any sign of life for 3 days though it doesn't seem to be dead. It's winter here with temperatures hovering around 50-60 f . Perhaps that's why it's asleep?
Or is it dead?
Also, assuming it wakes up what do we feed such a small snake and how?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
I'll try and upload a pic

Well, it is not a corn snake. I'm unsure what species of rat snake it is. And if you've had it in a tank with heat and it hasn't moved in 3 days, it might be dead. What happens if you turn it upside down?

You read the bit about me being in China right?
Animal control here means catch it and eat it.
Your nic 'corn snake lover' takes on a WHOLE new meaning in China.
It's not a myth that snakes, cats and dogs are literally on the menu.

Well it seems to be utterly comatose. Hasn't moved at all. If it's not dead it soon will be.
