plexiglass

I was at a show back in December and I met with Don Soderberg of South Mountain Reptiles. He has built a few cages from plexiglass.

Does anyone know how this is done? How do you affix the plexiglass pieces? Plans?...

I'd like to know too. I think it is glued/epoxyed (sp) together. I've seen plexiglass at Home Depot and was wondering if they will cut it for you or if it can be cut easily.

I imagine HD will cut it for you, but even if they don't, it's pretty easy to cut. You can do it with a stout-bladed carpet knife (aka utility knife) and a straightedge (the ruler, not the punk...). Just score the same line a few times (sometimes you need to do the front and back), put it over the side of a table or countertop, and snap it off. That generally works pretty well.

then seal it together with aquarium sealant, just the same.as build a fishtank.hope it helps.
