Stuck tail shed

Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone else encounters this. My lovely cornsnake always seems to shed everything perfectly, apart from his tail, every time that is left behind and I always have to help him remove it with a damp rag. Then it just comes off.

Just wondering if this happens to anyone else? The rest comes off in one big lovely piece.

It's pretty common, although I've never had a snake who consistently didn't get the tail tip off. As long as you notice every time and help him, then there's no worry.

I had this too. We would take off with a wet rag. Then the tip went black and he shed that mm of tip off. Never had an issue after that.
