Miami Tessera's :)

The last little baby seems to be doing good! I think he/she just took a while to absorb the yoke.

One of the babies has an identity crisis....they think they're a chondro...?

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cute, I had to snap a photo. I didn't note which baby it was, I'll have to go through and check head patterns and figure out which baby this is.

Finally!! More photos!! :)

Ok, here are some post shed photos!!!
Here are photos of the ones that have shed so far. (A few more shed overnight, but I didn't have time to take pics before work.)

I did initial popping, and most of the males are pretty obviously males.
I'll sex them all at least two more times before I settle on the sexes (especially the ones who appear female, just in case).

ME-KAI-15-06 M is one of the normal babies, but did not want to sit still, at all, so I will have to get a photo at another time.

16 out of 19 babies ate their first meal! I have named them and will start a progression thread in the near future. :)

16/19 babies ate their 2nd meal!
I will try boiling for the three that didn't eat next time.

I need to pick up some Ivory dish soap as well. I've had some success with washing in the past, but I've not tried that brand of dish soap.

I cannot wait until these babies start growing! :)

Edit to add: I got all of the ACR registries done for the babies!!

Did you do anything differently? Or did you use ivory soap?

I thawed in ivory soapy water. I start putting hot tap water into the bowl of pinkies, and I added a little bit of Ivory soap. I then rinse them.

With the ones that previously refused, I put a small piece of gecko shed on the nose. I do not know if it was anole or crested gecko shed. I have gathered shed from both as I can, and put it in a ziplock bag. Unfortunately, I didn't mark it.

I also had super heated water, not quite to boiling, and put the pinkies for the stubborn feeders in that water.

Gecko shed on the nose has worked for me before.
How I get the shed on the nose, is I place the small piece in the water, it floats on top of the water.
Since I try to avoid touching the pinky or shed with my fingers, I use feeding tongs.
I grab the pinky with the tongs, and bring it up underneath the floating piece of shed, and it attaches perfectly on the nose of the pinky.
