Breeding/Egg Production & CareAny topics concerning breeding of the cornsnake, brumation, egg laying, or issues concerning problems in any step along the way.
If he realises why she's flagging her tail we may be in luck. I didn't brumate so this is totally random timing. Next year I'll brumate so I'll have a better chance of success
I know, as you can guess I'd have waited if I'd had any real doubts, or if a breeder on here had said 'no!' Looks like there's nothing going to happen tonight anyway
Well she's acting saucy, but he's not ready. I'll seperate them later tonight and try again in a couple of days.
Any of yours ready this year, Elle?
*sigh* yes... But I don't want to push them. Lacey is over 300 grams but I am not happy with her shape. I don't trust the 300 gram rule. She is dwarfed by 600 gram Panther, and doesn't have his sort of muscle tone. I would be happy to breed a female in his shape. Sadly I sold my proven sunglow mot female so I wont have corn eggs till next year. But I'm planning on a rather special pairing for her... Maybe involving a stud of a blood with hets I can wait for that.
As she was so saucy, put Slim in instead ........... corn porn coming up! (and as I took off the lid of the tub to get these shots, I now know what snake spooge smells like)
