Would you ever keep venomous snakes?

Aw noo! With a face like that, I'd love one, though I don't think I'll ever be ready for a venomous snake!!!

While I wouldn't I get what you mean about wanting to touch one. My dad actually was friends with the guy who ran the local reptile exhibit (now a restaurant) who let him pet a cobra. They had a device to hold it while he touched it but still it had everybody involved a little nervous. Personally my experience with almost being but by a few copper heads has somewhat eased my temptation

No I will admire from a far but I am not about to feel comfortable handling a hot and I want to be able to handle my snakes. So I'll stick to the pretty, harmless ones :)

I'm with you, Magdalen. They are beautiful, and I really like to just watch their movements, but I don't care to own one. I couldn't care for it properly.

Yeah considering how accident prone I am... I just feel like it's a really bad idea. But they sure are pretty, behind glass, or from a distance haha.

Some have unmatched beauty and in the right home can be just as calm as any nonvenomous. My female Jameson's Mamba DRC locale.
