gravid corn keep passing weird poop

My gravid corn snake first mated on 4/6, she quickly became uninterested in food and I can see her lower half body was swelling significantly. Her last meal was on 4/20. However, between 4/20 to now, she has pooped three times and every time the poop looks weird. It looked very liquid and in dark brown. It was in huge amount each time. She has just completed her pre-lay shed today.

My question is why she produced abnormal poop when she is gravid? Is she trying to get rid of all the wastes before she can lay eggs?

Thank you!

I would take her and a sample of the fecal matter to a veterinarian. I'm concerned when you stated that the lower half of her body was swelling significantly. My females seldom quit eating when gravid. I fed one of my anerys and four hours later she laid eggs. I'm sure some females may quit eating for a short time before laying, but mine don't. I may reduce the size of the mouse fed to them soon before laying, if they are holding large eggs, but they still eat. Let us know what happens.

Upload a picture of this "poop" because it sounds to me like shes laying Slug eggs.

There was a guy on here that posted some photos of what he thought was poop he got told his cornsnake was a male turned out it was a female and it wasnt poop but it was slug eggs,

My female corn just laid a cluch of eggs tuesday gone, there were 4 slug but the rest are fine,

Get a picture up it will help alot.
