Silver Queens

Any give me any idea on how to start from scratch and produce my own line of silver queen ghosts?

I've looked on serpenco for Richs' description and I see that they are ghost which contain the miami bloodlines.

Now are they standard miamis or did they start with a natural miami mutation?

for example could I look at introducing my own miamis either directly into my ghost blood and then cross back the F1s to another ghost just to get that blood in there
or am I missing the point (again)

Or would I need to start off further back than that by creating a hypo miami and / or a aner miami

OR

am I never gonna manage it anyway because it just isn't that simple

Although I certainly did say that the Silver Queens came from Miami Phase stock, it just wasn't any old Miami Phase!

That particular line has thrown some interesting animals, but I haven't really nailed down anything genetic. Some of the Hypos I tend to call my Scarlet corns, although the Hypos that come from the Silver Queens themselves don't tend to look like that. None of the Hypos het for Silver Queen that I've produced over the years have ever looked even remotely like the Scarlets, and I have no idea why that is. Probably something I should look into one of these days......

And i got an interesting offshoot of me Candy Canes from that line as well.

Not saying that you can't get a Ghost in one form or another that looks like a Silver Queen, but you may have to work at it.
