Try putting a heating pad on low for a little bit and turn it off and on at different intervals . Have you tried an attempt to feed? Definitely not a corn snake though

I’m sorry but that forum link just made my brain cells cringe upon reading their responses... please tell me that’s NOT a reptile related forum of any kind...

Happy to tell you, not at all.
It's a Thai expats forum. Most of those guys have been around a bit though, and most, living in Thailand, have had some experience with snakes around this part of the world.

How would I give it water? it's not moving.
As far as a heat pad I wouldn't know where to get one around here. Maybe a hot (warm ) water bottle.

Try putting a small dish of water in with him he might move to drink
Or maybe get a cotton ball with some water on wipe around his mouth as for the try a water bottle with a tea towel round

I think the "sniff test" will tell you whether it is dead or alive after this amount of time.

I think if he hasn’t done anything with it by now , there no need for a test. I’m taking into account that he never mentioned it moving or not either.

First of all we are in China (Long story) and my 11 year old son bought a corn/rat snake ONLINE. it arrived and seems to be about 12" long but it is basically comatose. It hasn't moved or shown any sign of life for 3 days though it doesn't seem to be dead. It's winter here with temperatures hovering around 50-60 f . Perhaps that's why it's asleep?

Or is it dead?

Also, assuming it wakes up what do we feed such a small snake and how?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I'll try and upload a pic

Hi please could you tell me how you got on with your snake ?
