Are these descendants of the scaleless texas rats that Graham has, or are these different?

They are corn snakes. They *do* have some emeryi blood in them, as the first to pop up was a creamsickle. But after generations of being bred to corns, I'd wager they are as pure as the rest of what we call "corns."

... I need to find a way to come up with a couple thousand dollars. Is it horrible that I'm seriously considering going to the bank and trying to get a loan for these guys?

According to the French section of their website (thankfully I still remember at least a minimal amount of French), they're starting at 1,900 Euro (just over $2K) for normals all the way up to over 3,000 Euro ($3,600) for Reverse Okeetees.
