i luv them all.
on cornsnake.net they have corn snake scientific name as Pantherophis guttatus
wen i thought it was elaphe guttata. please explane wat Pantherophis guttatus is.thx.
 
The name elaphe was taken away and cornsnakes were made their own species...They are no longer a sub-species
 
Yes it was this year. I believe the "Old World" Eurasian rat snakes have kept the Elaphe designation. The New World American rat snakes were given their own designation of Pantherophis, to recognise their status as a distinct species.
