I got lucky this week, I went to my local Barnes & Nobles bookstore looking to pick up "The Corn Snake Manual" and found it on sale for $1.00. Thank you all for recommending it! Excellent book, it's worth much more then I payed for! Pick it up if you haven't already! The day after I got the book I went to a petstore to get crix for my bearded dragon and to my suprise, they were selling corns! (they didn't have them before.) Initially I was going to buy online, so I was happy to see the little guys on sale and available to take home that day, I guess it was just meant to be! They didn't have the exact morph I was looking for, but I'm very happy with what I got (I only wish I could have taken more then one :grin01: ) Anyways here's some pics of the little one I dubbed Pharaoh and the last one is of our Beardie (Spyro).
No troubles with feeding, I still can't believe his tiny head engulfed that thing lol (My mom didn't think he (or she) could do it)
And here's Spyro, it a good thing he ran out of Crix!
I saw the Corn Snake Manuel at a Goodwill for two dollars awhile back. The next time I went, a few weeks later, it was gone. I'm hoping someone is now happiliy filling their brain with corn snake knowledge now, and apreshiating the low cost.
oh and psst: a little secret--- sometimes it's worth the wait.
anyhow, good luck with your new snake.
And, Your bearded dragon's so cute! Do you have any pictures of his whole set up?
I remember EXATLY how it was when i got my first little corn, like yours! The best feeling He/She is a very good looking normal, with graet appetite it seems
