Wow!!! Every time I see Lila, she gets more and more stunning!
I really, really want a female Lav and if/when I get one I hope she's half as beautiful as Lila!

She puts the poster over the tunnel during the day when she's sleeping, and takes it off at night when she's working on the tunnel, of course!
 
I love when I see a well-burrowed tunnel...and I wonder, where does it go? And then, after I clean, is my snake cussing me out for now needing to start all over again? :p

Back to the photos, though...I do love it when their wee little noses come up out of the aspen, or they're completely pressed against the glass, and they just stay there -- charms my socks off. :)

I think that is a cry for more bedding! Dang it all, she doesn't have enough bedding to create a decent tunnel.... poor snake.
 
She doesn't go anywhere! She stays in her warm hide, with her head peeking out. Poop mysteriously appears in the cool aka poop hide. The aspen is two inches deep! But I'll put more in if it will make you guys feel better...

Well, that's cause she can't tunnel :) Of course, my guy is a little low at the moment too. So I can't say too much. At one point in time, he had enough bedding in there to build a tunnel underneath his water dish and that bowl is heavy!
 
No, she used to go hide in the top of her tree, but I haven't seen her 225g fatty self up there recently...
