AHHHH FUZZY POOP!!!!

Last night i was walking up stairs and i checked on my snake just because and i saw that he had pooped in his water dish. So imidiatly i took it out and cleaned it (this poop was about within the last 2 hours) But as i was cleaningthe poop i realized there was mouse fur in the poop, the poop clod was extremely huge about the size of the mouse i fed it and then i saw the fur and thought that it didnt digest enough but today he is moving aroud a lot and doesnt care if im there so is anything wrong with jesse (my snake) or with the mouses or is it normal? there wasnt a lot of fur just about 2 fingernails of my pinkie finger.

It happens I wouldn't worry.

If it were a regurg you would KNOW! They STINK far worse than any crap could ever stink.

My adults sometimes pass clumps of what seems to be fur sometimes as well. And when its in a water dish it looks 100% worse than it would on the substrate.

As far as i know very few animals can digest fur - i might be wrong but i was pretty sure snakes in genral cant digest keratin (i thkn thats how it spelt - the stuff our and other animals nails/claws/hair/fur is made off) so having it come through in poop is a perfectly natural thing. Havin said that i am now think abouthe amount of fur that does get past it and doesnt seem to be enough to suggest that its totally indigestable by snakes - does anyone have a full answer ?

it might have been a regurge. but if it was just poop its normale for you snake to have fur in it mine have in theres all the time
