My Tula passed away

my butter with the mysterious lumps in May

http://cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68238

I found her passed away in her water bowl tonight. The lumps never returned and I thought she'd be ok because she was eating every 7 days and pooping like normal. But she was only able to keep down pinkies successfully and between that and being an eater when she felt like it, she started to lose weight. A few weeks ago I went to check on her and I could see her spine. Last week I fed her a pinkie, slightly larger then usual....I felt like after 3 months it was ok to bump her up and she regurged it.

She hadnt shed since June either but she was due for a feeding tomorrow.

I dont know what else I couldve done. The vets told me nothing was wrong with her....anything larger then pinkies she couldnt keep down....and as a yearling she got down to 40 grams....

Least she isnt suffering anymore.

Here she is

Sorry to hear about Tula. If she couldn't keep nothing but pinks down, there would seem to be something wrong. You did what you could.

She was a good looking butter. Sorry again Justine.

I'm so sorry.. you have made all possible, but sometimes it just happens, and we can do nothing. :(

Oh that's terrible, I feel for you, really do! That's a really good picture of her, hold on to that.:)

That's sad. I wonder what was wrong. RIP, Tula.

I dont know Nanci, but things changed with her when those bulges showed up. Maybe her intestines twisted or something, I dont know....its just weird she could only pass small meals, nothing larger would be able to pass through that area.
