The boys love the new baby. They had to discuss it for a day, but they came up with a name. She is officially named Star Shadow. There was some talk of naming her Jingles, because she is a Christmas baby, and Emerald...idk why, but Star Shadow won out. Because of her feeding issues, each of my 3 boys got to hold her on Christmas for about 20 seconds, and then I explained that we had to give her time to get comfortable, and learn to eat in her new home. Once she eats again, I am going to teach the boys how to weigh her, clean her cage, and write in her notebook. I am also going to be letting them buy and create some new tank decor for her. Yay! So happy!
