Rich, you have to see this.

Please keep it civil here! Thank you!

I thought I was the violent one who wanted to shoot Wade from a giant Sling Shot at Daytona.. you know we could take bets on how are he will fly in the parking lot or how long he can hold on to his beer and give the proceeds to USArk.

Chris, thank you for your well thought out response. I'm glad that you are so open minded and not judgmental. I wasn't clear on what it was really about.

Oh, you weren't finished. Well thanks for the additional information.

Chris, you have raised some very thought provoking questions. I hope you are able to get a handle on what is acceptable. I can understand how that might be useful information for future reference,

"And to me...that's twisted and sick, no matter how you look at it."

Thank you for sharing your opinion with us.

Besides that, all my judgemental and argumentative behavior came on the heels of being "called out" for my opinion, and feeling forced to defend my original opinion. I didn't see you or anyone else making snide comments to Nanci or diamondlil when they called the video cruel...just me.

But I guess it's just my paranoia, right?

This is every comment I have made to you in this thread Chris up to that big one where I mostly just quoted you and made no comment.

You haven't seen me Call Out Nanci or Janine because you haven't seen me call out anyone on this thread including you. I'm sorry if you feel singled out here Chris. I don't think you are paranoid.

Now that is a fine suggestion. I will even put some money on it, I bet I can hit the ground and still have beer in the can.

Wade, every comment you make to or about me is smug and snide. No matter how thinly you try to veil it. You know it, I know it, and anyone that actually takes the time to read the whole thread knows it.

Every one of those 3 three comments was a deliberate attempt to "lure me in" by being obviously smug. Than you play innocent when it "works" and we argue.

You're too smart to play stupid like that...

You want a truce? Fine. I got no problem with that. You wanna play dumb pretend you're innocent of any wrongdoing? Fine. I'll even play along with that.

But don't think for one nano-second that I will sit idly by and let you be smug and condescending with me. You stop trying to antagonize me, I'll stop trying to irritate you. That's as good as it's gonna get.

How much beer in the can? Gotta have a standard before I can wager...

Chris, you have kept this thread alive all day arguing with others, you don't need me. I'm not going to play with you. You can find people to argue with every where you go.

I won't debate the squirrel issue as thats a no brainer....
But the launching of Wade.... Well... I have found this, and it looks like the kit we need... Just have to invent a quick release harness and we are in business..

I found the squirrel launching video hysterical. Whether it was for entertainment or a means of getting rid of vermin, I don't particularly care. A few years ago my parents introduced me to an air powered BB rifle because birds kept getting into our garden. They tore up our tomato plants real bad pecking at bugs on them (which didn't do much harm by themselves), ate any young plants growing (flowers or a very tiny peach tree, didn't matter), and made a mess of our backyard.

Needless to say, every spring to fall, I'm sitting out in the backyard periodically waiting for any house sparrows or occasional dove or quail to come into the garden and look for a free meal. Whenever I get one in my sights, 90% of the time they're dead. (And rarely I'll hit them but not kill them, so the cat gets a flight-less bird treat.)

We even had problems with a squirrel once; I shot at it a number of times and either missed it or barely hit it. Our cat also killed two rabbits a few years back. I never saw any of those myself though.

The only birds I don't shoot at are the red robins and blue birds unless the same one keeps coming back again and again. The rare wood pecker birds that have peach colored breasts are never shot at though. Usually I go for the camera and hope for a good picture.

I thought this was hilarious. New York City squirrels are notoriously bold and pushy, stealing food right out from under your nose or even out of your hand, and that's where I grew up. So I was picturing one of those big, fat, sassy city squirrels getting the scare of his life. Very funny, albeit a bit cruel.

I would be careful what you post on a public forum. You never know who may be viewing the threads, so it would probably not be wise, to admit to killing migratory game and song birds.

I have been simply reading this thread and following along, but I can not let this slide by without a comment.

In many areas those types of birds are protected species and it is illegal to kill them.

Mike is right I'd be careful what I post on public forum. Pests are one thing (I even draw lines on how to dispose of them) but killing birds or shooting them so the cat can have a treat is cruel and unnecessary. I honestly cannot believe what I read in your post.

I agree, BBaroness. I've read the entire thread and pretty much shook my head, but what this child posted totally sickens me. ME! And I despise birds!!!! Future Dahmers of the world, UNITE! :awcrap:

Well...this is the first sign of an individual destined to become a serial killer...

Abused any children or homeless people recently? How about puppies and kittens? Do you enjoy tying them up in a burlap sack with a stone and tossing them off of bridges?

Let me guess...they are a nuisance, right?

Speaking of vermin...your post, which I quoted, should be legal grounds for immediate dispatch. The poster child for late-term abortion...

And the mods can go ahead an give me a vacation. Unfortunately, it doesn't change the obvious fact that some parents no longer know how to raise a child to become a decent human being.

Chris, antagonizing a 15 year old? was that really necessary? did it make you feel better? Pretty sure a couple people, myself included already let the 15 year old child know that he/she prolly should not have said that.

First name calling, now taunting the mods? good luck with that one.
