Thought I'd post some pics of my first Ball Python drop of the year. This is Kitty, she is my 3,000g girl. Sweet as can be. I paired her up with my 2,000g Pastel, Dante, and waaa laaa Got 7 eggs, but 2 were duds, so 5 good, plump, perfect eggs!!! I finally got the 2 duds out. They were stuck good:madeuce: lol.

BPs must have BIG eggs. Mom is 6000 gms, and there are only 7 in the pile & the pile looks huge! Let's hope all 5 are pastels! How long do BP eggs need to incubate before you get pippies?

The female weighs 3,000 grams, not 6,000 lol I wish all 5 will be pastels!! That would be awesome, but I won't be that lucky lol. Some people will actually cut their BP eggs on day 50-52, but I wait for them to pip. Its around 50-55 days usually. This is only our 2nd year with BP's so I'm excited!

yay, major congrats! i should be hatching out some pastels this year as well...IF my girl EVER lays!

i'm jealous you have eggs already

I know it seems like it takes them forever to lay and then another 'forever' for the eggs to start hatching. I have 2 other girls gonna lay me some pastels and then one will hopefully throw me a bumble bee.
