Mice! They taste so nice!
Now she's eaten 3 times, my keeper gets a name. The lovely result of pairing Polly with Twopersons, she doesn't seem to have inherited their evil bitey ways, just their beauty. From the moment she hatched, I was praying this particular corn would survive and thrive. Meet Fanny Mae

I find it hard not to just get her out to look at, she's really testing my self-control

Thanks! I can't believe how bright she is, and how good her diffusion is. And she's eaten without any tricks. I feel blessed. Blissed. Over the moon!

She looks great! Nice & fat & full of pink in her tummy, great head markings, amazing diffusion for what, 1 shed? She would definitely be a keeper in my eyes too! Congratulations!

Thanks! This girl is from my pair bred by Vincent (Vinman). All the rest of the bloods and het bloods are dark, Vincent says there is absolutely no chance she's hypo, so she's an oddity that shouldn't have popped up at all in this clutch.
Here's Polly and Twopersons when I first got them

Is that blood a sibling? It doesn't look like masque, and Fanny does. I wonder how much it affects color, if at all. And it is supposedly more prominent in males.

What did her parents look like as babies? I bet she just gets redder and redder!!
Just posted them above. Here's what they look like now :) Plenty more red to come, I'd say! Whoops, same file #, so only TP showed up

Well, she looks similar to mom as a baby, except the intensity of red is richer, I think. It will be interesting to see what happens!
