So I Went to the Herp Show...

Kiss My Hearse
...telling myself there is nothing I want or need, in fact I need to be letting go of non-project snakes. There were some great vivs on display, a few that really caught my eye, too. We chit-chatted with some friends that were there. I fell in love with some baby sunset boas, but walked away. I was almost done when I found the vendor who had a pile of F2 Nelson's milk/corn babies. He's the one that produced the two females I bought last year (amel and anery). He had them marked at $45-65, depending on morph and pattern. I did the smart thing. I marched myself over to the ATM, took out $120 and asked if he would sell me three for that amount. He said yep. I picked out three super females: a wide-striped amel, a perfectly banded normal and another normal partial wide-stripe with an awesome belly. He popped them on the spot as females, so I'm hoping one might actually be a male, but I'm good with three girls for my future projects. They are newly hatched and haven't eaten yet. I'm willing to take my chances. Their older sisters eat like pigs. Happy birthday to meeee!!!

I wonder if it is the same person I bought a pair from at Daytona this year? They were labeled as Cornsins - a snow corn crossed with an albino nelson's milksnake. I picked up an anery male and a more normal colored (although aberrant patterned) female. I think Susan got a pair from them as well.

Sheesh, I totally forgot about that expo today. Oh well, had to work anyway - maybe I will go tomorrow.

Grats!! I wanna see pictures!!!! ;)

I doubt it. This guy is a local breeder. He labels them as cornsons. He had no idea what to sell them for.

Have you posted pics of yours yet?

I have not because my external hard drive crapped out right around that time so I don't have a way to really upload and edit photos right now. It is killing me because I have pics of my additions from Daytona plus some people photos, pics from my trip to AZ and pics from my brother's wedding that all need to be worked on still....

Actually, Josh may have taken some pics of them when he was here now that I think about it.... I will have to see if I can find them.

EDIT - here they are in this thread. Not the greatest photos...but you get the idea at least:

Are you going again tomorrow? I found out I get to take 1/2 my shift off at work, so I can go to the Expo tomorrow. :)
