But seriously. Sorry you guys got jumped. Great questions and answers to the hacker! Too funny! We are both at work and I know facebook is blocked here...so I am guessing it's blocked at her work too...but we will obviously correct it as soon as we can.

The sad part is...Facebook? Really? Come one people. Try a better scam. Don't you think for one moment that if we were going to London we would have been talking about it on facebook for weeks? Wouldn't most of the folks in our lives already know? Duh. Stupid hackers. How dumb do they think people are?
 
I know, right? And at least know how to spell, and punctuate. It would have been more believable if they said they were stranded and needed money via moneygram or something. But, they cant get a lot of money that way. Plus, if you guys were actually stranded somewhere and needed money, you would probably call us, not FB us LOL

It just amazes me. I just hope no one we know actually sends any money. Thank god Lauren's grandmother is not online..she would have fallen for it even though Lauren took her to the store yesterday.

Besides...why would Lauren go to London during Playoffs...when the Ravens kicked butt yesterday? I doubt I could get her out of the city during playoffs if we had a free trip and won the lotto! LOL!
 
Darn, I was gonna FB Lauren and ask how London was. Then tell her I have a few thousand collecting dust I could have loaned her. Oh well, I guess it'll hae to continue collecting dust.

Anyone got an idea as to what I do w/ Facebook to correct this?? I just tried to change my FB password and it won't let me.

My account has been taken over by another person.

There are two indications that your login email address has been removed by another person:
Your profile is still visible on the site when you search for it and there is a different login email address listed under Contact Info.
You received an error message when logging in with the correct login email reading: "The email entered does not belong to any account." (You will also receive this error message if you have made a spelling error. Please be sure to check the spelling of your login.)
To solve this issue on your own, please look for an email at your login email address with the subject "Facebook Contact Email Change Notification" and follow the instructions to cancel the email change.

The travelling doppleganger must have done it. I was teaching this morning from 7:00 until 11:30. I'm home on lunch break now trying to fix everything.

No, that was actually the real me. I'm too confused by you-- do I call you Lenny or Dave??? Bah--- makes my head hurt so I decided to unfriend you. ;)

But if anyone got defriended and needs refriending just send a new one. I am back in control-- password changed for all my accounts related to the Facebook account. :)
