Well, my name is Emily. And the "SteelJaw" part is because I have a form of Arthritis in my jaw and am going to need surgery this spring to correct my bite. So the Steel part is just because it's ironic.
I like symmetry and alliteration (repeating of consonant sounds), along with other literary devices.
This is a shortened version of one or two screen names that I have had since the 1980's.
v-t-s v-t-s = vetus vates = pronounced : vaytoos vahteez
Which just happens to have a meaning in latin.
vetus = old, aged, ancient
vates = poet, bard, prophet, soothsayer, seer
C'est poesie, non?
So not original here couldn't use Susan it was taken so went with susang. First letter of last name. Although I may change it to something clever![]()

Oneiro- is the combining form of the Greek word oneiros, meaning "dream". Genesis is of course the Greek word meaning "origin" or "source". So essentially I am calling myself the origin or source of dreams. Deep, right?
It's borrowed from the terms used to describe substances which produce spiritual experiences, such as "entheogens" (producing "entheogenesis", or an experience of the source of "God within" [en- meaning in or within and theo- meaning God) and "entactogens" (producing "entactogenesis" -- to touch [entacto-] the source). I'm fascinated by the religious, mystical and spiritual and also by the ancient Greek language, which I hope someday to learn.
At the time of joining I had pet rats and cornsnakes. I no longer have pet rats, but I now have ratsnakes. So ratsncorns could apply to either![]()

I KNEW I knew that name from somewhere. Those books are on the shelf behind me somewhere...Maybe I'll read them again...just to get to know you better.Daenerys is a character from a favorite book series of mine, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. The TV series based on the books is airing in April on HBO and goes by the title A Game of Thrones and I am soooo excited! I think its time to reread the books![]()
