A few new dinker geckos (DUW)

On a serious note, I hope things work out with them and at least a few turn out to have those genetics you are looking for.

If you looks at a yellow belly ball python and you didn't know anything about ball pythons what would you say? What about a sable, or GHI ball?

Snakes aren't geckos for one and I'm not saying that these geckos don't carry any kind of genes but like those BPs they had to be proven first. Which if you can that would be awesome, but I don't think you need to leave smart remarks to people who say they look like normals. It's not a bad thing if they are normals, they are still pretty and still have potential.

Does the title say new "morphs" or does it say "dinkers". I not saying theres anything to them but they are worth breeding out.
Did you change your user name?

Nope, it changed itself. :sidestep:

I'm going to make "cyber-citizens arrest" on this thread, before things get heated, because jmho it looks like it's possible; no offense to anyone I hope...

Dinkers are just what they are, something that "could" be something down the line but probably not...I don't know what prices are for gecko's, and it doesn't sound like they are for sale anyway so...:shrugs:

Now saying they are het patternless, or even using the name "X morph", such as "light phase" or even "possible Axanthic" alludes that there is more to it, even when it is out there that its a "Dinker" project...Lil off-topic but does anyone really know enough about them as far as the range of natural looks that they come in?...I mean if you didn't know anything about garter snakes you could find 3 in a square mile that looked nothing like the other and think "Damn, lotta different species of garter snakes around" when it's just three looks of the one species...

Jmho these AFT's are ugly as sin, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so mores the power to you...More Jmho I think you are victim of "repetitive foot in mouth syndrome" and you've kinda been your own worst enemy at times...but...I also think you get called on it a bit...much...and again jmho...I think if you focus your passion a bit that foot wouldn't taste so good ;)

Chris, you seem to be the voice of reason here. Dinker is in the title therefore I wouldn't post an albino here. These are animals that are simply projects. Sometimes these people insert their feet in my mouth. Think about it.

I agree i.e. dinkers

Well, then try using some foresight and know when to close your mouth as to keep yours or theirs out ;)...I do think for years you've been your own worst enemy but, you will do real well in the community (and business if you go that route) if you'd take a breath and do a lot more listening, and learning...You're passionate, and I don't believe in stepping on anyone's passion, misdirected or not...Take it for what it's worth, as it is jmho...and really, those gex are fugly man...

I simply asked why you thought they were/could be morphs or carrying hidden genes because to me there look like normals with nothing special that stands out. It was a question not meant to turn into an argument.

go to www.urbangecko.com and look at the fat tail projects. You'll be surprised ;)

Well basically, they look neat. I have the space to prove out the traits. Yes until proven they are normals unless without a doubt they are genetic (IE Albino, Axanthic, Patternless). These are project or dinker animals; I label them as such to give them some appeal to the public eye.

You answered it here so that's the end of that and good luck with your projects.

I know nothing about geckos but I must say the one you posted when the stripe down its back is pretty amazing!!! Good luck with all your projects I hope they all turn out well!
