I am a bears fan from the uk.

My prediction is.....steelers by 10

Just out of curiosity, how does someone from the UK pick a favorite team? I watch World league soccer from time to time, but don't really have a favorite. Just wondering what went into it for you?

lol.. agreed.
although my reasons are simple, I would hate to see people looking at Roethlisberger thinking hes a total legend winning 3 rings.
I just cant believe he may do it, I've never thought he was so special.

Rufflesburger is a helluva QB. I don't think he's got as much raw talent as Brady or Peyton, but he is big, strong and evasive and can really stretch out plays. When you couple that with the amazing receivers he has been surrounded by for most of his career, you get an amazing career.

I have tried to like the Steelers in the past for big games. I really have. But it's just not in me. Go Pack!

I'm rooting for the Packers to win it. I'm more excited about the Super Bowl because it means as soon as it's over, it's basically baseball season. :D

Either way, I know it's going to be a good game. My house will be divided, so I'm sure I'll end up making somebody mad.

He is obviously a very good player, that cannot be disputed, but for me I am glad the packers won. When a team does well, 99% of the times the QB is given all the credit.. I just dont think he is a top top class QB deserving of the status he could have had, and may still have oneday. This may all change as he could still win more.
Lets face itm being big and strong is nothing more than genetics, nothing skillful about it. His receivers being good will make him look better too.
I just think he is a touch on Brady or Manning, just a personal view on it really.

It's hard to get excited about baseball in Baltimore.

I'm from Kansas City. Believe me, I know your pain. ;) Hopefully both teams can rise to the top again soon.

By the way, congrats to Packers fans! It was a good game from what I saw, which wasn't a lot.

Sorry I missed this poll... I would have put down that the Steelers would win, but that I hoped that the Packers would win because I can't STAND the Steelers...

That being said, while I'm glad that the Packers won, it is a very hollow victory as my favorite teams didn't even come close (well, the Colts made the playoffs but their early exit wasn't "unexpected").

Here's hoping for a better season for MY favorite teams next year! :)

I know and fully acknowledge that I am the guy with 3 lbs of overly patriotic gray matter lumped in a cranium atop my shoulders. But was anyone else as disgusted by the utterly ludicrous mess that was Aguilera's feeble attempt at the National Anthem? How can one get on that big of a stage and not even get the words right? Also I am so done with 'celebs' and 'artists' personal spin on the tempo and inflection to the point of near dissonance! Sing the song as intended! Mini-rant over. :realhot:

Oops missed the thread for this.
