I apologize for the quality of the pictures, but camera phones just aren't what I'm used to when it comes to photography.

This is my pair of captive bred elaphe moellendorffi, or 100-Flower Ratsnakes. The male is in the first two pictures, the female in the latter. I've spent years waiting for these guys to be more widely captive bred (thus affordable), as they're absolutely fascinating animals, but have pretty much only been available through import until very recently.

I love those guys. I would get some but I heard that they need to be kept cooler? My room sits around 80 so I worry it would kill them :(
For now, I just will admire your pictures :)

According to the man who bred them, he keeps them just like his corns, only a bit cooler (mid to upper 70's).
 
Robs, I remember you were so excited at the show you were babbling. Now I see why! I had a feeling you would be taking some home. Really nice snakes, *almost* as nice as corns! :)
 
They are gorgeous, Robbie! I hope to see many more updates on these beautiful kiddos! I absolutely love their bright orange heads! :)
