The ball python madness

I love our ball pythons. They aren't any harder to feed than a picky baby corn imo. I got Lola eating like a champ now with the help of Autumn. They are totally different than corn snakes. They move and feel different. My husband isn't a corn snake guy. He loves his bp. My son as well.

I wouldn't pay 40k for a ball python just like I wouldn't pay 4k for a corn snake. Call me cheap.

That's the neat thing about this hobby, there is something for everyone.

Since the price seems to be the sticking point the cost spread of ball pythons is exactly the same as it is in corns.

Low end corns are $10
Low end ball pythons are $100

High end corns are $2,000
High end ball pythons are $20,000

Logically, based on offspring production and supply, they are exactly the same in price spread. It's just scaled differently based on the market and supply/demand factors. You just have a few more zeros to start. :D

If you don't like something, don't buy it. Don't consider people that happen to like it ridiculous.
 
I will say, I really want an albino ball python. Really, really badly. They came with a 300-500 dollar price tag and I am cheap. LOL

My favorite corn snake are snows and normals. LOL so I am bland as well in my tastes!

What if I considered you to be ridiculous before I knew you liked BPs, and now that feeling is simply enhanced because of your love of all things brown?

Keep in mind, I have no problem getting an infraction when it comes to you. Bring it!

Well... you like hoggies, so your love of brown is equal to mine. :p Shades of brown and a few colors of albino in them. Many many shades of brown, yellow, white, and black in ball pythons.

My browns are better than your brown. :D
 
I have one brown hognose, my het albino female. The rest have brown undertones, but are mostly blonde, green, grey, and orange. And mine are POISONOUS. Oh snap, I went there.

I only have one brown BP. The rest are cream, yellow, black, grey and white. With many pattern variations. Plus mine are bigger, and can crush yours. Oh snap!

Or one of us beheads the other and then does a very bad Queen cover while pretending to convulse in a field of ethereal electricity.
 
Fair warning, my Queen covers have been known to cause herds of grazing cattle to stampede and kill anything in between them and myself.
