Okay then. Explain to me why my stripe is the color of a clay pot and not the bright orange in the picture books. What caused the variation?
 
If you need proof about his coloration, here he is. He did however, produce bright orange hatchlings.

Het anery does not show "het markers". Het caramel will sometimes make the snake more yellow/coppery colouring, but not always. There's also natural variation within every morph. Ie: Sunglow, reverse okeetee, fluorescent, candycane, and amel are all genetically amels, they just look different.
